1. Terms & Conditions

Orders

• All cake and dessert box orders must be placed at least 3 days in advance.

• For larger events (corporate, private parties, candy bars), orders must be placed at least 1 month in advance.

• All products are handmade. Please note that minor variations in design or colour may occur.
   

Prices & Payments

• Prices are shown in GBP (£).

• A 30% deposit is required to secure all orders. The remaining balance is due upon collection or delivery.

• For custom cakes, the final price is confirmed once the cake is weighed (excluding decorations). Decorations are charged separately.

• Accepted payment methods: card payment, bank transfer, or cash on collection.
   

Cancellations

• For cakes and dessert boxes: cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance to receive a deposit refund.

• For large event orders (corporate, candy bars, private parties): cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance to receive a deposit refund.

• Cancellations made after these deadlines will result in the deposit being non-refundable.
   

Delivery & Collection

• Collection is from Hatfield, UK.

• Free delivery within a 5-mile radius of Hatfield. Delivery fees apply beyond this area, based on distance and travel time.

• Once the cake or desserts have been collected or delivered in good condition, responsibility passes to the client.

• The client is responsible for safe transport and proper storage. Instructions will be provided, but any damage after collection/delivery is the client’s responsibility.
   

Allergens & Food Safety

• Products may contain: gluten, eggs, milk, nuts, peanuts, soya.

• While every effort is made to avoid cross-contamination, products are made in an environment where these allergens are present.

• Products are not recommended for individuals with severe allergies or intolerances.
   

 

2. Delivery & Returns

• Due to the perishable and custom-made nature of cakes and desserts, returns are not accepted once the order has been collected or delivered.

• If there is any issue with your order, please contact me immediately so I can assist.
   

 

3. Privacy Policy

Data Collected

• When placing an order, I may collect: your name, email, phone number, delivery address, and payment details.

• When signing up for the newsletter or promotions, I may collect: your name and email.

• My website also uses cookies (see below).
   

How Data Is Used

• To process and deliver your orders.

• To communicate with you regarding your order.

• To send newsletters, promotions, or special offers (only if you consent).

• To analyse website traffic and improve user experience.
   

Data Storage & Sharing

• Data is securely stored through Wix (website hosting), Stripe/PayPal (payment processing), and Flodesk (newsletter service).

• Data is not shared with any other third parties except where required to process your order (e.g. delivery services).

• Order data may be retained for tax and accounting purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data held about you.

• Request corrections to your personal data.

• Request deletion of your personal data.

• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
